New old stuff

From many many moons ago, here is the front sleeve of the much-heralded debut EP 'Transistor Resistor' by Barnet based indie  'post-rock' combo World Before Wireless. They asked for stairs, and stairs was what they got, mixed in with a paint trail found on the floor in Paris, a map showing projected television coverage in the British Isles for 1967, a road and part of a door from Notre Dame Cathedral.

As with the first single "Colour Shoot" and in keeping with the 'degraded' look of the album, the sleeve is meant to look like a vintage 7" single. Shown here are sleeves for both versions of the single (one vocal, one instrumental) and alternate artwork with different effects.
